Technical Coordination Meeting

The company organized its first ever Technical Coordination Meeting on 6 and 7 September, 2013 in its head office.

This meeting was required in light of the changing business dynamics of the company where NRDCL has a huge mandate with diverse activities in terms of meeting the natural resources requirement of the country. The three broad frameworks to follow while trying to meet these mandate are – Availability, Accessibility and Affordability.

This meeting of the management team, the Regional Managers from all the eight regions and the section heads discussed at length, the problems related to different aspects of management – technical, operational, financial, marketing etc. The need to improve the internal work processes, addressing the communication gaps and strengthen the level of interaction with all relevant stakeholders and agencies were some of the issues discussed.

The meeting created an excellent forum to share field experiences with a view to resolve all pertinent organizational and operational issues including the annual compact targets.

At the end of two days of intensive interaction, most of the issues tabled for discussion were resolved and many left for further review. The meeting was able to identify priority areas where we need to focus our resources to improve them in future. The need for good customer service followed by exploration of additional areas for business growth was some of the things that we discussed during the meeting.
