A total of twenty employees of NRDCL are awarded the Royal Civil Service Awards in recognition of their dedicated service to Tsa-Wa-Sum. The Chief Executive Officer handed over the medals to fifteen recipients through a formal ceremony on 12th December 2020 at NRDCL Head Office, Thimphu. Another five awardees under Zhonggar and Phuentsholing Regional Office and Gelephu Branch, who could not attend the ceremony in person, will receive their medals at their respective place of work.

Out of 20 employees, 5 received life-time service medals, 6 received gold medals for having served for more than 30 years, 1 received silver medal for having served for more than 20 years and 8 received bronze medals for having served for more than 10 years.

Handing over the medals to the recipients, the Chief Executive Officer, in his address congratulated the recipients and stressed about the significance of the medals and certificates that are being conferred right from His Majesty the King. The CEO also reminded the recipients and all employees who attended the ceremony that, while it is a moment to reminisce the past contributions to the corporation, it calls for yet another important journey to further improve service delivery to the public.
